The Drop-In on 5th March was another success and more than 120 people came to the view the display of alternative viable options to the relocation proposal. Of the suggestions on offer, most people expressed interest in the setting up of a Charitable Trust to run the Library, second favourite being the formation of a Community Interest Company. There were suggestions that a combination of Trust and CIC would achieve most for the Library, getting the benefits of both. It is recognised that these are complicated issues which need careful consideration, bur these are viable options which received strong public support and it is fervently hoped that Shropshire Council are open-minded enough to at least discuss these options with the Support Group.
