Shropshire Council announced this afternoon that the request to have the decision to relocate the library called-in for scrutiny had been rejected. They are seemingly happy to plough on with their decision, despite two flawed consultations and its rejection by 82% of those who replied to the consultation.
We have now reached the point where, having exhausted all other options, we are left with the choice of initiating a legal challenge.
The Support Group has therefore called a Public Meeting to explain what a legal challenge would entail and to gather the views of residents and library-users. See “Events” page for details.
